| Spot Removal |
| |
- Act Quickly - The longer the stain is allowed to remain, the
harder it is to remove.
|
- Remove as much excess stain as you can by blotting, scraping
or brushing whatever will come off. A towel or a spoon work best
for this.
|
- Apply warm, not hot, water to the stained area and blot until
the stain stops transferring to the cloth.
|
- Use the appropriate spot remover and always do a test spot removal
on a portion of the carpet that is not normally visible.
|
- Always work from the outer edges toward the center of the spot
when cleaning to keep the stain from spreading.
|
- Repeat steps, if necessary, and always blot between steps with
a clean white cloth.
